ADFAC Dine and Donate

Five area restaurants will donate a portion of their sales on Monday to support the charitable work of Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties, or ADFAC.

The participating restaurants are:

  • Hoskins in Clinton
  • Mediterranean Delight in Oak Ridge
  • Razzleberry’s in Oak Ridge
  • Riverview Grill in Clinton, and
  • Subway locations in Clinton, Lake City, Oliver Springs, and Oak Ridge (Four Oaks Center).

“We hope you will be able to dine out at one or more of the above restaurants on Monday, Oct. 14,” a press release said. “Proceeds from Dine and Donate will help ADFAC provide essential services to the less fortunate in our community. ADFAC appreciates your support.”

If you are on Facebook, you can “join” Dine and Donate here.

“Once you join the event, you can invite all of your Facebook friends!” the release said.

If you are on Twitter, you can follow ADFAC here, and when eating out on Monday, mention the event using #DineAndDonate.

ADFAC is an independent nonprofit agency that serves the basic needs of primarily low-income residents in Anderson and surrounding Appalachian counties. ADFAC’s goal is to help families become stable and self-sufficient through a variety of direct assistance services provided by its social services and affordable housing programs.
